From March 2014, Robe has acquired all relevant patents and intellectual property from GDS to manufacture and further develop their popular range of Lightware battery powered LED products. The first of these produced by Robe will be a new up-lighter using two 40W RGB LEDs. The batteries will last between 10 and 18 hours depending on the colour mode in which the fixture is operated.
The head is tiltable – a patented solution for the efficient lighting of walls pillars and other architectural features - and the units can be DMX or stand-alone controlled. The streamlined housing is finished in a cool polished aluminium for high reflection of the immediate surrounds and easy blending into the environment.
