KOLORGLOBE MK2 4000 is the CYM single beam colour changer searchlight of the GRIVEN's range that features a 4000W lamp. This concept in such high power lamp fixtures is almost unique and the combination of moving beam and colour change provides a truly spectacular display that could be a highlight for any permanent or temporary event. This unit features an electronic ballast set and uses a powerful flicker-free 4000W lamp with precision electro-shaped nickelrhodium coated reflector to give an extraordinary light output. The electronic ballast has been exclusively engineered to feed Xenon lamps and as a result offers high reliability, while ensuring long life to the lamp and correct operation in a wide variety of vertical and horizontal applications. Power supply extension cables for comfortable use can separate the ballast unit from the projector up to 20 m (available on request). On board or remote DMX 512 control gives access to all functions, which include frost soft edge effect, black out, mechanical dimmer, enhanced electronic strobe and stand-by option (13 channels required). This projector has been specifically designed for suspended use on touring shows applications, however the unit features brake locking wheels and screw jacks for floor-mounted installations, while transit locks are provided for the pan and t i l t movement.
